Long time no See

Oh my goodness gracious!!! It's been a while since I've been on here!!! Just as an update on what exactly has happened the last year and a half of my life!!! April 2013- August 2013 I went back down to Orlando Florida to do my seasonal hours for the most magical company in the world! It was scary at times because I was on my own, living in the ghetto of downtown, the only Nephite among Lamanites if you know what I'm saying, but I survived and I thank my dad's father's blessing for that! It was magical and fun. Then I came home because the love of my life was getting home from his mission. I stayed home from school for that fall and winter semester to get money to pay for school by working at picture people (I got to take photos everyday which I love!). Kevin came home from school April 2014 and officially asked me to finally be his official girlfriend (we kissed at a winterhawk's game for the first time right before new years and had been calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend since then), to which I said "of course". We worked all summer, I had to reapply for school because things were messed up since I was gone for so long, but I'm happy to say that I'm back up in rexburg with the love of my life, and hanging with some amazing girls I get to call my roommates and family!!! I'll try and be better about updating this more often!!! Lots of Love!!!

A life without making magic is like a life without purpose or air... SO BORING AND USELESS!!!!! Sure, school work keeps me somewhat busy, but I often find myself day dreaming of my Kingdom of Magic, and what I would be doing if I were across the country, or what Peter is doing... I spend most days on Disney sites and Pintrest looking at Disney pins. I need to get out of here and go back to a land filled with good and magic!!! I do not like this real world where the focus is on the troubles and the bad things. I like the world where once you enter, nothing else matters, you just are happy for no real reason! Where you see a castle and your heart leaps out of your chest, where everyone greets you with a smile and a "hey!", where you can act like a kid and no one judges you for it! I need to go back to that world... plus all my friends are not here in Washington really, so it is SOOO BORING!!!!! and lonely! :/ Peter: come get your Wendy and take me back!!!

Saying goodbye is always the hardest part!

I cannot believe that I've been in Florida at the happiest place on earth for a whole year!!! It seems like just a few months ago!!!! I haven't even begun to do all the things that I have wanted to, yet I've done and seen so much! I have learned so much; you may take the girl out of Disney, but you will never take the Disney out of the girl! I know I'll be back soon, but it's still heart breaking to know that I have to go back to the real world for a while. If I had my way, I would never leave. I got a call this morning saying that they had a part time position for me at the Confectionary, and I would LOVE to take it, but mom says no. I know I'll most likely regret listening to her later... But I know I'll be back soon, and I'll be reunited with my Ohana, cirkies, and my Peter Pan soon! It's just hard; I don't know what I'm going to do with my life until I get back... Regular life would just seem so confusing as to how it works. I LOVE YOU DISNEY!!! See ya REAL SOON! "I promise!!! And when I promise something, I never go back on that promise, EVER!"

Love my life

I absolutely love my life... as I think of all the things I still have yet to do, because I leave in about a month... so what do you do?! On your day off- you go resort hopping with your bestest best friend in the entire world. Trevor and I went to the following resorts all in 6 hours... Contemporary (the Joseph resort) Polynesian Grand Floridian Fort Wilderness Lodge Port Orleans- Riverside Port Orleans- French Quarter The funnest most scariest part was that on our way from the poly to the grand floridian and we saw that the gates to the wedding pavillion were wide open, so risking our jobs and careers with the company, we snuck in and took pictures at the picture spot... then ran right on out... holding hands the entire time, so that it looked like we were engaged... Funny thing is, my "husband" peter pan has a boyfriend... but I still love him! Later that night me and my roommate Laura and our friend Michelle made gingerbread houses in order to get ready for christmas! I love christmas!!! cannot wait!!! the hotels and parks are already looking ready for it!

Fantasyland!!!

I would like to Officially Welcome Everyone- to the new Fantasyland! We are officially open!! It was the best day ever!!!! I got up at the crack of dawn, went with Morgan, Christina and Catie to go to Cast connection, where I bought a cool coloring book! Then we went to our store, bought our "I WAS THERE" t-shirts for the opening, then we went to go to the Belle area to see if they had another shirt, but they weren't open yet, so we decided to go to the castle show. We were about 40 yards from the castle stage. It was a BEAUTIFUL ceremony!!! I saw Jordin Sparks and Gennifer Goodwin from Once Upon a Time!!! I cried, cast members screamed, and we all were freaking out the entire time! It was packed, but yet we all went to the circus and hung out as a family together and joined in celebration! It was the second best day of work ever at the circus!!! <3 so glad I went to this area!! I've never been more happy to be part of a team so amazing! Watch the video! I was right there!!!

Goodbyes are the hardest ever

“Never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting.” That is what Peter Pan said to Wendy; and seeings how Morgan is my female peter pan and I am her Wendy, we cannot say goodbye! It's just not acceptable. Goodbyes are the hardest ever, especially when it is between great friends. We did a "CELEBRATE MORGAN DAY" where me, Morgan, Christina, and Catie all went to the park (MK) and rode rides, went shopping, and all sorts of fun things! Took pictures with all our friends at the circus. It's a good thing that she lives in Portland!!! that way we can hang when we get home!!! <3 After MK, we went to the Osborn Spectacle of Dancing lights at Hollywood Studios. COOLEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! These lights move with the Christmas music!! we danced, we sang, we laughed, we jumped on each other, all sorts of fun!

Let us give Thanks

This is my first thanksgiving away from Home... Today just seems like a day where you are to eat food and watch football and be around loved ones. Funny though, I worked all day long, yet we had a buffet, so we had food, we had every game on imaginable in the break room, which since we were all there REALLY early before we started so we could eat and watch football, and I was with my circus family all day long... Yes- I called my family, and yes I do miss them, but it really didn't phase me that much to be missing it this year. I think I will miss Christmas more than anything else this year, but I guess that's just part of growing up.

Hurry Hurry Hurry!

Oh my lanta! I have never been so happy to go to work!!! Since all my friends basically left in August, I have been miserable at work. My Nazi manager at Mickey's was driving me up the freaking wall. Then, Josh, one of my old managers asked me and my twin Christina if we would like to transfer to open the new part of Fantasyland. I was hesitant at first, because I love Studios! It is my home. I love knowing everyone there and I love my guest relations people, but everyone kept telling me to go, and if I didn't they'd basically kill me. So I said why not?! Megan was about to get a fist to the face... so I decided to go for it. And I am sooooo glad I did!!! Big Top Circus is truly amazing!!! It is so much fun, I am so glad I left Mickeys! My managers are all wonderful, they let me be myself and loud and magical all the time, I LOVE working in the kitchen, and plus the new area is just sooo beautiful! Every day I'm excited to go to work! No longer dragging my feet to go, I run there and drag my feet when I have to leave. I haven't felt this way since like June... Its incredible!!! I might never leave! Plus I might not have to! My friend knows a guy who he's setting me up with with meet and greets and he can get me possibly into guest relations, and my area manager wants me to stay after my college program at the big top, so I have options! I love being wanted! But I do know this, no matter what happens, I will be home in late June to be home for when Kevin gets off his mission! <3

"Ohana" means Family~ OHANA FOREVER

All good things must come to an end, but we refuse to say "goodbye". I feel as though these last 8 months have been a dream; like I haven't actually been awake, but in a fog... so many wonderful things have happened, so many amazing people have come into my life, and now that it is all over, I cannot help but have a wake up call as to show how fast time does fly when you are busy having fun! There is so much I haven't done yet that I've wanted to do in my 8 months down here, and now that I have my extension, I have 4 1/2 months to complete it all in. It is sad going to work and not having the familiar faces I am so used to seeing every day; the people who would dance along side you during parades or DCR... the people you would go to dinner til 3am with, joking along the whole time with. I will never forget these amazing people and the wonderful times that we have shared together... we got through so much together and I hope one day we can all reunite here where our whole OHANA stared. We refuse to say "goodbye" to each other, because family is forever, so we end our conversations by saying "ohana". We love each other and support each other no matter what; we were the closest group of CP's our managers had ever seen. We were and continue to be Magic Makers, and someday, we all will be reunited again... And the only person we have to thank is the man who started it all, with a mouse. Ohana <3

Hip Hip Hooray!!! :D

Sorry that it's been a while!!! Work has just been so all the time and then there's the fact that all my friends have been leaving or are about to leave in the next 2 weeks. So to get you caught up, Carbon freeze went fine along with star wars weekend... I got 2 applause-o-grams from guests during the whole thing. The new batch of CP's have been coming in, they are some wonderful people, but some times I just have to wonder... My family just came down for a few weeks. It was great seeing them and hanging out around the parks. Now I'm deployed to tomorrowland for a few days... did you know that I've worked half of magic kingdom now!? I've done Main Street (strollers), Adventureland (Pirates), and now Tomorrowland (space mountain). All I have left is Frontierland, Liberty Square, and Fantasyland. I think I can do that! OH! And I got my extension, So I'll be here in Florida til January 4th!!! I'm soo excited! I'll get to be here for Mickey's not so scary Halloween party, and then Christmas!!! I'm going to become a trainer in my area, and get my asl button for my badge. And that's about it! Loving life, loving friends, and loving Disney! <3

Don't say goodbye!

Goodness- I think the hardest part of my program is happening! Several of my friends didn't have the program that I have, so they had to leave these last few weeks... The hardest ones to say goodbye to was my friend Kylie. She worked at Mickey's with me, we liked all the same things, she was boss and I was probie. We were inseparable and always had something to talk about! Then this last saturday Mike left. Mike and I had been friends since January, and kinda had a fling the last 3 weeks. He was truly my prince charming! It was so hard to say goodbye to him. I think I cried for 3 days straight, and still sometimes cry whenever I really think about all the good times we had at his house or around the parks. He transfered to Disneyland for a full time position; that way he can someday work his way up and take over Bob Igers spot as head of the Disney company and then I can say, "Hey! I dated him! He was such a sweet guy with good intentions and such a good kisser!" :) Still- I wanna be a little selfish and have him back here with me... I kinda snapped when he left and chastized Chad and Robert and told them that they're not allowed to leave until I leave Mickey's (I'm trying out for entertainment to either be in the parades, or be "friends" with someone). They agreed that they would try their best.

It's simple- It's Magic!

I have come to realize just how thankful I am for everything that I have been given in my life... I'm deployed to MK adventureland this week, and Epcot next week... I've been deployed to MK strollers before, but I'm so thankful for everyone that I work with normally and for my location at Hollywood Studios and for my managers and coordinators over there. I miss everyone so much, and how we can do things there to create magic that I'm not allowed to do in MK. Although I was doing what I normally do in studios at Mk the other day and their manager was like, "wow! I'm impressed! Thank you so much for doing this type of stuff with the kids and always having that smile on your face"... apparently she doesn't do that often! makes me feel really special! but I cannot wait to get back to Studios, to my parades, concerts, people, managers (aka... Robert). and the way that we constantly make Magic! BTW: Kevin has been out for 9.85 Months, 42.23 weeks, 295.63 days... and he's 40% done with his mission!!! oh my lanta! AND mother's day is in 2 weeks!!!! I'm sooo getting that day off, just in case I get a call!!! Love you KevKev!

It is SO all in the parenting!

Working here at Disney has certainly taught me to look and be grateful for the way that my parents raised me and my brothers... I see little girls throwing temper tantrums in the middle of my store all the time because they want and expect their daddy's to buy them something, and they don't care about anything at all; that they just expect to get the toy. I see little boys arguing with their parents and storming off to the other side and talking back and down to their parents... boy if we were doing what these kids were my parents would smack us and take us back to the hotel for the night. They would NOT stand for anything like these kids get away with!

2 days ago I was working movieland, which is our outside store. It is circular shaped with half the store in the park, and half of it outside the park. There was this family (can you guess what race they were?) of and aunt &uncle or something like that, 4 little boys ages ranging from 8-2, and then the parents. The aunt & uncle are sitting across from my store on the outside of the park watching the store, the parents are who-knows-where (not being parents that's what!) and the 4 boys are all in the outside of the store looking around. I'm busy helping other guests, and then this lady from will call comes over and tells me that the boys have been stealing from the store for the last 10 minutes and that I better call someone. Immediately I call my manager Ashley and tell her the situation. While I'm waiting for her, this boy who is like 5 comes up, hands me $2, takes an Indiana Jones kit which costs $21.25 and says, "thank you, good bye". I grab the box, tell him he needs more money and that he cannot take this. I put it back, and he walks over to the mickey mits, which are the same price and asks how much these are, I turn my back and the 2 YEAR OLD, comes up behind me, grabs the box and bolts around the corner! WHAT THE HECK!?!?! You're 2! And you already know how to steal!!! The 2 year old then comes back, grabs a $15 truck and bolts again! Oh my lanta. My manager comes out, we call security, mind you that the aunt and uncle are still sitting there watching all this happen and DO NOTHING!!!!! Security comes out and is watching them, the dad comes ROARING around the corner asking me why I let his kids take this stuff, and proceeds to pay for all the boys stole, which equaled to $84.95!!! Good gracious! You sir are a bad parent! As he was paying, the boys kept putting more stuff up to be bought. He then takes all he paid for and goes over to where the family was sitting, to which they started pointing at me and the security guard.. I'm sorry- yes I called them in on you, because your kids were stealing and you weren't watching them or stopping them! You probably told them to do it! The same 5 year old comes up to me, hands me now $2.25, takes the box again and says "Thank you, have a nice day!" to which I rip it out of his hands and sternly tell him "No, this is not yours! You need more money before you can have it! Sorry!" He gets mad and yells "I GAVE YOU MONEY! NOW ITS MINE!!! GIVE IT TO ME!" To which I sternly say again, "No- you need more money! Here is your money back, please do not touch until you have more money!" He's mad, stomps over to his mom, yells at her because I wont give it to him, and she just says, "oh no, you don't need that." Oh my lanta, seriously lady?!

Thank you mom and dad for teaching me early in my life that I cannot always get what I want, and the difference between right and wrong! I now know that "its all in the parenting" is no joking matter or saying! It's soooo true! Thank you Disney for helping me see just how I'm going to raise my children, so they do not turn out like the millions of spoiled tiny humans who come through my store every day! :D

PEOPLE!: TEACH YOUR CHILDREN YOUNG!!! That is all!

HE SAID WHAT?!

OH my lanta! As if my day wasn't going perfect enough! I had a great day hanging out with my manager Robert at work, but then I come home and I get a letter from Kevin in the mail! So I'm already thinking, "BEST NIGHT EVER!" and I start to read the letter! In the letter he basically told me that he's in love with me, the he appreciates my support and that if I'm not married or dating anyone by the time he comes home, that he would love to be my boyfriend! I screamed! Literally screamed and started crying! Oh my lanta! finally! I've liked him since I first met him my first winter semester at BYU-I... and now I finally know that he feels the same way because he admits it! I'm going to marry my best friend! This is why no other boys seem right when I go out with them and I don't pursue the relationship more than just being friends, is because god is telling me that I'm supposed to be with Kevin! <3 I love you dude- and I cannot wait to have you home in 1 year and 4 months! We'll see what happens then! Hope it all works out!

MOST Magical Birthday EVER!

OH MY LANTA! I am continuing to have the best time down here in Florida! So many magical things have happened! I hold the record at work for having the most magical moments in one work day (47)... No one has beat it yet. It was at 30, and I was the one that had set that one, so I tried to beat my own record! Oh, and just for the record, PARENTS! If your child is not feeling well, PLEASE DON'T BRING THEM TO THE PARK!!! If they do get sick at the park, DO NOT ask me to clean up where your child got sick. A.) I'm am not liable for barfing on your child. B.) It is NOT in my job description to clean up their puke. Thank you! lol.
On that happy note, my Daddy sent my mom down for my birthday! It was the best birthday ever! I had so much fun running around the parks with her, riding rides, doing Disney finally the Mueller way. She got in on Wednesday night, and we went to Downtown Disney. Thursday morning, we and my roommate and my coworker went to the magic kingdom first thing in the morning, played there til about 2, went to my park (Hollywood studios) to watch my favorite parade, meet my coworkers and managers, see beauty and the beast, and watch Fantasmic (which because it was my birthday we got special seats, right at the top middle!) Then we ran back over to the Magic Kingdom to watch Wishes and ride a few more rides. Friday just me and mom went to Animal kingdom, got soaking wet, went back over to the Magic Kingdom for lunch at the Crystal Palace, ride more rides, then went to Epcot for Illuminations. Saturday morning we had breakfast and a long conversation with my Florida Parents, and then went shopping at Downtown Disney and the cast service building. I couldn't have asked for a better weekend or birthday! It was so much fun and it was so great to have my mom here for my 20th birthday! I'm just excited now for my daddy and brothers to come down too! Now it's back to life, back to work which is totally fine with me because I freaking love my job! I get to create magic and memories everyday! Can life get any better!?
